Tor Fenwick coaches a wide range of riders, from adult amateurs to upper-level professionals at her base in Market Drayton or within a 35 mile radius of this. With her wealth of experience and numerous international titles, Tor has a true passion for teaching and finds it incredibly rewarding to help each horse and rider combination on their unique journeys. Her teaching style is grounded in classical riding principles and the scales of training, with a focus on refining the basics to set riders up for future success.
Tor is an accomplished international dressage rider with a career that began at just 4 years old and a passion for dressage that took hold at 12. She honed her skills through The Pony Club and BYRDS systems, and over the years, has developed a strong focus on training young horses through the levels.
Tor’s training is rooted in classical riding and shaped by her work with top trainers such as Isobel Wessels, Charlotte Dujardin & Nicky Barrett with whom she still trains with today. Her feel is second to none and has played a key role in her accomplishments, allowing her to develop strong, well-rounded horses and partnerships that consistently perform at the highest levels.
Tor has a unique ability to mentally ride the horse from the floor alongside the rider, allowing her to explain techniques clearly and share her knowledge in a simple and relatable way. She is empathetic to each partnership and tailors her approach to ensure both horse and rider gain the maximum benefit from every session.
Tor offers both 1:1 45-minute lessons and 1:2 hour sessions, helping riders at all levels achieve their goals.
Tor is pleased to offer clinics both at her base in Market Drayton and offsite at other venues, with each clinic tailored to meet the needs of the participants. Whether it’s an intensive dressage boot camp, test riding practice, or engaging pole work sessions, her clinics are designed to help riders and their horses develop as a team. The sessions focus on refining skills, improving technique, and strengthening the partnership between horse and rider, all while offering variety and depth to the training.
Each clinic is fully customisable to suit individual goals, with the flexibility to choose the number of days and the type of sessions—whether dressage lessons, pole work, or test riding.
